True Love waits
Charbel El-chaar wrote:
One of the reasons I want to share with you this 2 pages. Is the destruction of more than 40-60 millions babies dies in abortion every year worldwide. And the great side effect abortion causes on women and men, from suicide, miscarriage to breaths cancer destroy us.
The devil is the father of lies. In order for him to trick you, he makes evil look good, and attractive, he may whisper to you why wait? You could get whatever you want and now. Why wait for education and job to get money? You could steal? Why wait? You could get easy money by selling drugs .Why wait to earn it? You could sell your body and be a prostitute. Why wait to get married to give your life to someone you love in sexual communion? You could get sex now without getting married?
Three weapon are destroying youth
1) Distorted sex education. 2) Contraception to destroy your sexuality 3) Drugs to destroy your mind
The separation between love and life, sex and marriage, lead by evil moral relativism taught in schools and the media are destroying the holy gift of sexuality. Relative words like "sex before marriage" in reality it means fornication. And sex outside marriage means adultery.
Are you being told that you are co-creator with God in creating new human being? Do you know that contraception destroy the true meaning of sexuality? Because sex has two dimension:
1. Unity of two spouses (husband of wife in Matrimony and only one man and one woman) and with God at the same time.
2. The fruit of this unity is a child created by God.
Love and Life cannot be separated; they were made this way from the beginning by the creator of all things. If we get the unitive of sex we must take the co-creative with it.
Proud to be a virgin (Our Lady is the virgin of virgins)
Virginity is not an old fashion; virginity is holy, and pure from sexual sin, for boys and for girls. It means that you preserve and reserve your sexual experience to marriage only.
And any use of sexuality before marriage is fornication and outside marriage is an adultery and abuse of sexuality; therefore it is a mortal sin. The Holiness of virginity makes the person proud to be holy and pure from sin.
Chastity Preserve you from the
sin of fornication.
The Catechism of the Catholic Church describes and in a sense defines chastity in this way: "Chastity means the successful integration of sexuality within the person and thus the inner unity of man in his bodily and spiritual being."(3) Chastity means to possess ourselves.
True Love waits
Everyone should love and be loved. This is human virtue, a gift from the Holy Spirit. What we are saying wait until you are ready and mature to take responsibility for your behavior by the grace of God.
If commit fornication, you will be suffering from the guilt of the pleasure you experienced. And the fruit of this sin is not unity. It is the lost of the mean of sexuality, an interior disintegration, feeling lost, shame, abuse, guilty conscience, and disrespect for others and the hatred of God. Because sex has lost its meaning, from moral relativism, you may feel empty inside and to fill this void or you may turn to drugs and substance abuse. And here we have new problem, drug addiction, and then you may start stealing or selling drugs to keep this addiction going.
Marriage experience is destined to be forever. It is more than physical relations. It is spiritual communion between two people of the opposite sex only, before it is physical. It meant to be an everlasting feeling of unity, love and respect for the other person, it meant to do what is good for the other, not abusing the other person. If you really love me, then you wait until I am ready and mature in marriage, then I can give you not only sex, but I will give you myself, my life and my love.
If you really love me, you do what is good for me.
What is good for me is not to be abused sexually, and leave me after you fulfilled your sexual desire. If you really love me, you wait until we get married
Make this line is your bible to protect yourself from the lust of others and always remember that: "Freedom without truth is license to corruption."
How can I avoid the lost of my purity and say I am proud to be virgin?
Pray to God
Have a love relation with God first by praying to him daily. And in this relationship you will start to build your love for your future wife or husband.
Live Chastity and Modesty
Modesty is not an old fashion; modesty is a gift from the Holy Spirit. Why place your self in temptation to sin for others or be tempted yourself by immodest fashion.
Do your education now and build yourself
Fill your time in education, this is your main goal for now, don't rush your self in immature sexual behavior that will distract you from your studies and turn you away from your main goal.
Don't place yourself in a situation, in which you may fall in sexual temptation. Start a support group in your school to help you be chaste. Join sports activities… look at other as your brother and sister. Your eyes are the door of purity.
Live your present age now
Fill your time with something fit for your age. You are not 35, 45, 55, 65 or 75 years old. If you do experience the activities of 45 years person you missed more than 25 years of your life. What you are going to do when you are 35 years old?
When you are really mature and need to go out with someone you may love and really want to wait and reserve sex for marriage, take someone (third person, sister or brother) with you as guardian angle, not only to protect you from date rape. But watch over you and be the person to do what is good for you.
The True Love Waits Commitment
"Believing that true love waits, I make a commitment to God, myself, my family, my friends, my future mate, and my future children to a lifetime of purity including sexual abstinence from this day until the day I enter a sacramental marriage relationship."
